The reflexionation

I am not a fan of Hawthorne. He upsets me. Poetry was like the salty incarnation of multi-generational trauma. I do not wish to care, yet I listen. It is my job. Yet, internal screaming shadows every word as it is. And, later, words are just words. The authorship no longer matters. What is it to be rendered to the non-mattering corner, Mr. H.?

My devilish and snarkiest inner life is taking words, as they belong to all of us, from you. Your words are not brighter. I will disrupt your words, make them mine. As you did with the land.

Disruption is meant to stay.
